THE OLD CASTLE
Two south of Linköping, on Rengen's beach and surrounded by the beautiful East Gothic nature, lies the Old Castle in Bjärka-Säby. Here, the first bride and groom stepped through the gate as early as 1632, and many holidays have been celebrated between these historic, bricked stone walls.
Welcome guests on the beautiful castle grounds, on the terrace with a view of Rengen, or in front of the fire in the Dining Room.
Have dinner in a hall from the 17th century that can accommodate up to 79 guests. The dining room, with its whitewashed walls and beautiful view of the lake, gives parties and celebrations here an atmospheric setting. Let the festivities culminate on the third floor of the Old Castle's ballroom and social room, where guests gather for continued joy and conviviality.
THE MAGAZINE
Magasinet, solidly built in 1884, is enthroned on a small hill, nestled in the beautiful East Gothic nature.
Here, up to 150 dinner or party guests can enjoy its rustic elegance in a different and historic setting. It is possible to adapt the surfaces so that the room is just as suitable for a small event and gathering as a large one.
The venue consists of three floors - entrance floor with toilet area and then two floors where you choose how you want to arrange the surfaces for dinner & party. On the second floor there is a newly built bar in an old style. The party can last until 01:00.
THE CATHEDRAL
Bjärka-Säby has a hay hill, built in 1875.
During the winter months, it is used as a storage room for boats and caravans.
In the summer, when it is empty, it is a truly fantastic and different venue with an atmosphere that can only be experienced on site.
An event in the "Cathedral" is guaranteed to be something out of the ordinary.
THE BEACH HOUSE
Welcome to Strandhuset, our charming little wooden house on the beach just below the Old Castle.
This picturesque little venue can be rented as a complement to the Old Castle during the summer. A perfect alternative if you want to break up the castle environment with something else! A dinner, lunch, coffee or workshop - we adapt to your wishes!
